This ministry is a very important part of the Liturgy celebration and requires a sincere commitment. One needs to be comfortable speaking in front of people and have a strong voice to proclaim the Word of God. In addition, one should have a strong love of scripture, belief in the Word of God, and a desire to serve.
Readers must be members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church and be actively participating in the Liturgy.
Individual training and guidance is provided. The schedule is done for a three month period of time depending on the availability of EMHC’s. Mandatory meetings are held on occasion.
